Actuators

Here is discussion of various alternative implementation for actuators (relays).

In Germany the Loxone Relay Extension (14 outputs) sells for 470.05€, which is around 35€ an output. If one is implementing DMX, Modbus or other protocols in an installation then there may be more cost effective ways to install general purpose outputs. These become more attractive when higher numbers of outputs are required. Eg. many lighting, blinds or shutters circuits.
